The EU account management team at OPM made their annual trip to the DMEXCO event in Cologne, in Germany earlier this month. This is a key opportunity for our EU account management team to meet the main International publishers and speak about future exposure and how to improve the revenue of our clients. This is also an essential event for new publisher discovery and learning more about current and upcoming trends in the many international markets we are currently operating in.
DMEXCO is the biggest event in Europe for digital marketing and is a meeting place for key players in the area. With over 41000 visitors and 1000 exhibitors, it forms a core part of our European networking schedule and this year we had teams from both our Devon HQ and London office in attendance.
Our latest employee to complete our apprenticeship scheme, Ryan, attended his first DMEXCO in Cologne with the European OPM Team. Ryan has been a member of the European Team now for 6 months, so attending the largest E-Commerce event in Europe was enormously beneficial for him to network with Europe’s main publishers and to expand his knowledge of the wider Digital Marketing spectrum. ‘’Attending DMEXCO 2019 was a good experience for myself. To meet some of the main International publishers to discuss how we can optimize our partnerships and to discuss future exposure was great’’ said Ryan. He also added ‘’I had productive meetings with publishers, and I feel as though I have developed my relationships with these publishers as I met them face to face for the first time’’.
