Last month, members of our European team from both our London and Devon offices attended Paris Retail Week and DMEXCO 2018. These events are key dates in the EU team calendar for networking and meetings, and this year was busier than ever for us.
DMEXCO is the meeting place and a community for key players in digital business, marketing, and innovation. We bring together industry leaders, marketing and media professionals, and tech pioneers to set the digital agenda. Both globally informed and locally focused, DMEXCO offers an ecosystem with seminars, debates, and expositions outlining the future of the digital economy and driving market value.
Paris Retail Week hosts an E-Commerce sector event, dedicated to solutions for e-merchants, from digital marketing to logistics. 2018 hosted a staggering 800 participating companies and welcomed 40,000 on and offline retail professionals. This is an unmissable event bringing together all of the stakeholders of the e-retail sector.
Across both events, our team managed to meet with a huge amount of EU affiliates, suppliers and networks; allowing valuable time for finalising quarter 4 and looking at 2019 strategies. Most importantly, the team were also able to spend time with some of our European clients.
One of our junior account managers, Vera Arezzo was also able to add to her affiliate expertise by attending several seminars that were of huge benefit to her. We were also introduced to a number of interesting 3rd party technologies that are have offerings we are considering for some of our programmes.
